Vios engine bay similar to xA/xB?

Vios engine bay similar to xA/xB?

I finally managed to locate a picture of the Toyota vVos engine bay. its not a good shot, but I'm hoping those more familiar with the xA/xB engine bays can let me know if they think Injen/YDR Intakes would fit?

Looks identical to me. I did a quick image search on Google and they the same.

I had an image here .. but they didn't like the remote link.

Yup it's the 1NZ-FE for sure. But how about the placement of stuff around the engine? battery, etc. if it weren't for the Toyota emblem, would u have known it wasn't a Scion?

jdaniels, i'm looking at the thai made vios. my mom just picked one up and i already have designs on it

for now, its i/h/e ... so i'm trying to find out if the likes of the ydr intake will fit, as well as strup/mmw/etc headers. the car will arr in a week or 2, so i'll have better pics up then.

you seem to know a fair bit about vios. since its the 1nzfe, i'm confident that the engine should be similar to the xa/xb. my main concern is everything else, for example, will the collector on the header line up with the bpipe? will the intake hit anything? etc.

Saimike, are you in Thailand right now? I take it that you want to buy Scion parts for your Vios?

If it comes to intakes, it would fit but you have to be prepared to move some stuff around (battery, alarm module) because the exact position will vary from country to country. I have a Malaysian Vios and the alarm module is located differently from the Taiwanese Vios. I know because the intake I ordered from Taiwan didn't fit properly.

The headers should be the same because someone around here has ordered a TRD header from Japan and installed it in a Vios.

But overall, I'm kinda puzzled that you'd want to order Scion specific parts for your car if you are in Thailand. There are a ton of Thailand made parts for the Vios there. And Toyota Motor Thailand is home of the Soluna Vios Turbo.
