Ordered some stuff from Summit Racing on line. Seemed pretty straightforward, there was a total for merchandise and on the bottom delivery and handling for a grand total. So, a few days later I get my goods with an invoice for the amount I saw online. Everything seems ok right? Yeah right!! My credit card statement lists 2 transactions from Summit. I call them up and they say that the second one is for shipping. So I say, " You charged me for delivery and handling already". They say, and get this, " delivery and handling is not shipping". WTF!!!! I'm not kidding!! I am notifying the BBB at Ohio and trying to warn everyone. God Bless.

simply dispute the additional charge with your credit card company or bank..
tell them that they double charged you, as you have an invoice that shows the item charge, along with delivery and handeling..
i am sure that sumit will rather refund you, then have to spend time and effort investigating the charge..

 

Yeah, one of the main reasons why I refuse to shop at summit. Link them this thread and see what they say. I got my money back by going through the credit card, I would recommend the same.

 

good advice on the credit card. Will do. I guess when the economy get tough, guys will pull some "interesting tactics".
