i really wish the 150-170whp range was more easily conquered without swapping... i think this 4efte swap is starting to look real good...

I'm going to be gunning for 150 on our xA, not quite sure how I'm going to go about it but my quad sits a little above 50hp and it's 500cc (Read CC) .5 liter! (Oh and it weighs a little under 400 lbs, Wanna race?)My truck is right around 400hp and it weighs 2 tons. I think the xA can do 130, even 130 would make me smile (Remember hp measurements are taken at the wheel, you'll have a few more hp than measured so I take an est of a 8 to 15 hp loss in power transfer to the wheel and getting danm near 150 would be around 130 to the ground) 30 more hp on a 108hp (at crank) vehicle is a very nice gain. Near 30% if I remember how to do math.

That far? 500 hp from 1.5L. That would be a huge turbo on a custom built everything probably. Im thinking durability like a NHRA Top Fuel with 8000 hp. 1/4 mile and rebuild cause something is broke or will be if you do it again.

$390 for a 'Fully built motor'? WHAT?
I can't even get 1/10th of my quads motor 'fully built' for that price. That's not even a ull set of rods for my truck. A Turbo kit for $230? Are you sure your not missing a 0 or two? I wouldn't even dream of paying a shop, even with someones stolen credit card, less for my built motor and turbo than my fart can 'race exhaust'. That's a sign of quality and true EBay powere there.

I'm not sure if that makes it any better of a post. If you could get 230 out of this motor with a turbo more people would do it. And the Blitz would be able to get you close to 200 not 140(If I remember right)

I'm assuming your saying 126 on a motor with just the supercharger? The most i've seen with the blitz was 132whp with other mods obviously. Power enterprise i've seen 138whp with other mods.

I know someone on here claims to have 156whp on a custom turbo, but i dont know if its true or not. If so, thats the current record.

I'd be happy with 150-160whp.

Right, so about 140 like I said. I was saying if you could get 230 out of this motor the Blitz should put you around 200 as well, like a turbo. Turbo's you can to to a fine line, S/C's will get you just as close, well atleast should. 126 at the wheel is not woth $3k+ to me

a 30% power increase is worth it to me... when you are going from lets say 95whp with a few bolt ons, to 126 thats 30% more go than you started off with... thats going to be felt, right in the seat of your pants. maybe you wont be racing with the best of em, but im sure the difference in feel betwen a blitz 1nz and stock 1nz is very very substantial

nonetheless, you are right, it just sounds bad.. "i paid 3,000 and whoa! i have a whopping 126whp!"

im eager to see what other options arise for the 1nz in the coming year, with the possibility of motor swaps becoming convenient with some sort of swap-kit.
