i can do a swap but. not one involving fabrication. I have no welder let alone welding skills. lol.

i could rewire but i'd rather save myself the headach and work a few more days.

This is just my $.02...but I met a guy in Charlotte who stopped me one day and said he done a few motor swaps in the XB....some larger displacements..he invited me to come over and visit one day and see....I just never got around to it........ so maybe his story is true....

I don't agree!
Did it to my 92 Camaro, no more lag than anyother turbo car.

i've always wondered..how would the xB be able to compete? i understand an xA, but the xB does not look aerodynamic at all. in fact, i thought if scion had made it a bit more aerodynamic, it would get more gas mileage from that. so wouldnt that be a flaw in racing it?

not flaming any boxes or anythin..i've jus always wanted to know.

the aerodynamics are the same as a wagon. or so my reading has led me to believe. besides i'm not talking 150+ mph race course runs. just 1/4 and regular fun driving.

is not to say something wrong about you guys, is just 411
the dream of swaping for xa xb is just matter of time... whyI said that.
because I live like 5 minute of the drag trip so I be there every week
and I see swaping you cant imagine like hiundays accent with tiburon motor
doing 9 seconds in 1/4 so is a factory 1.5L with 2.0 engine and is there....
another is a 1987 chevy sprint(if you can remember ) with hiunday motor
and like I said before a toyota tercel with rotary engine fwd ...
volky's with rotary engines , mazdas rx7 with toyota engines ... and bla bla bla
so is matter of time xa xb swaping and do not be impress when it happen

unless someone in japan imported a tC, i seriously doubt it being they have been sold there.

Well no crap they can import usdm cars, they do it quite often compared to us importing their cars.

That wasn't my point, my point was with the importing statement, i don't understand why someone would go through the trouble of importing a tC.
