boot doesn't need to be torn for the joint to be bad. boot keeps dirt out and grease in.

did you raise the car and slowly turn the wheel feeling for anything strange ? how about listening to it while your turning it to see if you can duplicate the noise with it up in the air?

 

guess what. that noise, was coming from the center cap of my rims (whch is made of plastic). thats what the dealer says. i havent taken them out to confirm because they are really stuck in there, really tight fit. and that might be why it rattles.

i wonder if all the other people with sportmax 006s are having the same noise.

man i felt like a jacka$$ after. but they were cool about it and didnt charge me anything.

 

i'd rather feel like a jackass than pay for new bearings

 

for sure man, im not complaining about it :D

i think i might have to take the wheels off in order to pop the center caps out. thats gonna be a pain
