xa transmission

does anyone know if the xa shares a transmission with any other models (not including xb) like the echo, yaris, vitz?

yes, i believe echo and yaris all have the same drivetrain. not so sure about the vitz.

from what i have heard about the vitz, the housing is the same, but the gears are different. (not to mention the added bonus of the TRD gear set)
