And what IF I was doing it partially to be different??? How many people flame you and others about trying to push our cars, saying that a 103hp econobox will never amount to nothing? Then where would any of us be if we never tried anything different, whether a good or bad result atleast we learned that much.

So anyways i need this **** cleaned up, Can you run a 35 shot of NOS without emanage... and if so this would only be at wot am i correct??

and seeing as i have no prior or indepth knowledge of engineering, i must say i feel as though i am beat... uless rollhard answers my question.
I have no doubt in my mind that ZPI's xB would take the tC over and over again... From a dig or a roll... believe me it is putting some real nice whp down..

Alex there is nothing wrong with being different... It just would suck to try and be different and spend $800 and really get nothing out of it. When you could have just put that money towards somthing that is proven to give you a good gain in whp..

You can run a 35shot of nitrous with out emanage.. lots of people have and best/ safest time to spray nitrous is at WOT.

Back in Dec. after I had had my toaster for about a month, some one wrote "you cant make these things fast and you would be crazy to think you could".. that got my blood boiling and made me want to prove them wrong... Now I realize our econo boxes will never be as fast as an EVO, Corvette or a WRX... But it sure is fun to make people go WTF and watch there mouths drop when you drive by them spooling turbo and haveing the wastgate open up on them... So my advice to you... is to be pateint and save some money and put it towards somthing that is proven to work... I would hate to see a freind waste hundreds of dollars on a setup if it didn't work... when there were other options available.

I had tears of joy running down my face when i saw the xb take the tc , although i would love to see it on a track or a longer run, it was great to see. After I saw it, i showd everyone who said i should have got a tc! HA! Ive read that running at WOT over 2500rpms is ideal conditions, knowing the way the car is geared I would probably run only after 2800rpms just to be safe. So in theory you can see again why it is so tempting, hell idont care if it doesnt work, they wont be able to sell anyone on here another one ever again. And they have offered a discount being the first scion to run their product.

I am sure that a 35shot will be ok on the xb without Emanage. Make sure you run premium gas though.

NO. nos and FI are different. Well, you CAN, but dont expect your engine to last a week. With no Emanage tuning, under boost around 3k rpm, my AFR is beyond 17:1. The car would hesitate like you hit the brakes. Sorry my friend, but there is no easy or cheap way around this. Just take it a step at a time and do things right.

There are a few that I would use. They are all pretty good so you can decide which one works best for you. The AEM is great for ease of use and pricing is pretty good. I like the PLX and Innovative units too. The AEM controller is built into the gauge where as the PLX and Innovative, you can get a gauge as an option. Autometer makes a wideband controller gauge now also, but its quite costly as its not a standalone gauge. If you want to tune using a wideband gauge, i would suggest getting one with datalogging capabilities.

Haha man i know they little bussiness but man that sucked when i heard it, plus after seein tcvsxb showdown i know with that setup I aint got to worry out here. For the most part the ESC seems promising although right now the initial cost for something unheard of is just not practical to me. If anyone else is looking into something like this give'em a call they seem to be an excellent company to work with and are verry helpful.
