Well the car being gutted wont affect how much power its puts down to the wheels. Anyway, the engines there might be spec'd differently and you guys dont have the fuel restrictions we have here.

hey guys, I never brought my car to the track...I am just making assumptions based on me running my friends cars that have been to the track. Theres no guarantees that I woulda hit 14's, but with a good set of drag radials and my boost controller set at 10psi I KNOW it would have hit high high 14's...

You would have ran 14s, and I wouldnt doubt it at all. But those NA guys running 14s could be questionable, esp with just I/H/E

ohh gotcha...didnt know you were talking about n/a lol. Yea, theres no way that someone n/a is gonna hit a 14.xx. Even n/a tC's would have a pretty hard time pulling off anything under a 15 unless they got some high compression pistons...simple bolt ons wont do it so theres no way its gonna happen on an n/a 1nz

On clubxb, there is a guy that ran 14.8 with NA bolt ons. The only reason I didnt call BS on it is because hes running a standalone and might have done extensive tuning. Even then, its tough. with a 14.9, fwd, that means his hitting 0-60 in the low 6 sec range. Whats stock? Like 10 seconds? lol

The guy on xlubxb is the only guy n/a with an auto that I beleive ran in the 14s. And he himself said he only hit 14.8 one time. And he said he doubted if he could do it again. The only reason I beleived he pulled a 14.8 is because he is a big leap beyond bolt-ons. He is running higher compression pistons and hitting 128 hp and 138 ft./lbs. at the wheels on a dyno using e-manage.

Anyone claiming to hit 14s n/a with bolt ons in an xB is full of it. If I am not mistaken Darren (Hotbox05) used to claim to be the fastest n/a xB. He only has bolt-ons and stripped he only hit something like 15.6.

All I know is that with 140 hp to the wheels, there is no reason a sub 2000 lbs. Yaris couldn't hit 14s all day long.

Yep, so he is getting around 147-150hp at the crank. On a 2500lb automatic...it still seems like a mid 15 sec car. Oh well.

sorry again mate "gutted" in the uk is used to say that someone is upset :p i know that wouldn't help bhp :p

as for the 1/4 times your right its got to be mainly bull, whats an XB weigh in kgs??? 1300kgs?? my car weighs 880kgs (950kgs standard) and when it was driven down santa pod by the UK's leading cyber yaris driver (only called that cause he parked it under a semi at 50mph and hes full of steel + pins now) pulled a 15.7sec 1/4. but i've not tried it with the new clutch (organic), running with that clutch + toyo R888 semi slicks we hope to shave a little off that time.

as for gutted.......... heres a pic of the inside of mine, all the windows will be removed in a few weeks and replaced with plastic ones.

heres the interior
