where else are the pipes gonna go, underneath the car lol Anywayz... the install on HotBox's xB is complete and will hit the dyno tomorrow, im sure he will post up #'s. A stock auto xB on our dyno is around 76-79 whp ( going by a 5-speed which is 86whp). His xB is aimed to be tuned @ about 8psi so my estimate is 120whp and 129 ft, lbs torque.
The dyno here (Ptuning) is one of 2 in the country and is a $100k set-up and is as accurate as a dyno gets... it is not there to please customers with bragging rights on dyno #'s, because it reads correct. Most shops jack up the calibration to please the customer. Dyno-Jets read high and Dyno-packs read high out of the box. This is an awd Dyno-Dynamics with all the bells and whistles... def not your portable dyno-dynamics by any means either...

Nice numbers. I'm looking to get about 160 or so with about 10 lbs of boost. Possibly run somewhere around 15 lbs or so on the high side of the boost controller. hopefully 175 plus I'll post numbers once it hits the dyno

Greddy Turbo Charger,
Greddy E-Manage,
Greddy BOV,
Greddy Boost Controller.
Greddy Intercooler.
Custom Ram Air Intake by (Performance Theory Mortorsports-Columbus Ohio)
Carrillo Rods
CP Pistons 9:5 to 1 Comp Ratio.
Catch Can by(PTM).
3 Angle valve job on head.
Ported and Polished head.
Engine Balanced and Blueprinted
TC Injectors
Transmission Oil Cooler.
Magnaflow all Stainless Steel, Mandrel-Bent, Cat-Back Exhaust System well I guess I should say Turbo back LOL
A little Tranny work.

How much $ do you think you've spent so far on engine work, not including any 'turbo system parts'?

If this ? is for me somewhere around $7G's. The Box was at 2 diffrent shops

Pulling and reinstalling the engine, tune and a few other minor things,This also includes getting another engine to build.
Greddy BOV
Greddy Turbo timer
Rods from Eloy
CP-Pistons

All engine work Balanced, Blueprinted, heads ported polished, 3 angle valve job and a few other minor things.

Then there's plugs and stuff like that. I'll have to find all reciepts to get exact cost.
on an Auto Tranny

Havn't had it on the Dyno yet, The engine only has about 1800 miles on it. Still breaking it in. About 2500 or so it should be ready. I'll post numbers when I get them

nice guys. and blown, that was a smart ___ comment :p "under the car?" i was just stating that i dont like how greddys charge pipes are all over the top of the engine, look at todds kit, his all runns around the sides and not on top of the engine, so it can be done. anywho, how is spool, and when is full boost reached? i really want to go turbo but since i went auto x that one day i figure that supercharger would be better. leme know please

And are there are any problems creeping up? I've PMd some poeple that seem to know what they are doing, some say no problems, some say don't even count on it being a reliable vehicle after turboing.

I want to jump in and probably have a year before my warranty runs out so I got time to decide on what I want to go with-seems like blownxa has his stuff down, and the turbo toyota program as well and maybe 365motorwerx-how hard was the install and tuning?

wow-over 120hp has to be a BLAST!
