Default greddy turbo rebuild

OK so the turbo seal is blown and i need to rebuild and noone here in orlando seems to want to do it....anyone know where i can get a rebuild kit for this thing....greddy says the only way it can be done is to mail it to thier cali office and they will rebuild and send it back for between 650-800 dollars....

a new one from greddy is 1100 so i think if i cant find it cheaper i may just buy a new one and a diff manifold and upgrade....lol

Any help is appreciated!

Call Scott @ Turbos Direct!

http://www.turbosdirect.com/

A full rebuild should be less than $250.00

The only thing I can tell you is to keep trying. He may be out of town on business. He is one of the largest Garrett Performance dealers in the country.

I know its way late, but maybe next time..

I believe Greddy turbos use Mitsubishi parts, the Greddy turbo in the xB kit is a TF-035-14GK I believe its the same rebuild kit as the Mitsubishi TF035 like this..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Turbo...QQcmdZViewItem
and its super easy to do.. if it happens again, double check with the vendors of rebuild parts, but like I said, I believe the Mitsu. is the same.. I saw alot of rebuild kits for other Greddy turbos that were the same as the ones for Mitsubishi (according to the application chart)
Could be wrong..

LMAO well the only reason i havent really been posting on this is i got the knock sensor fixed but now i am having issues with my boost....it seems like the boost control solenoid is bad or going bad because it has some inconsistancies. but step by step i guess.
