PE Supercharger Question
Those of you with the PE Supercharger Kit, is it loud? Does it have a nice whine when its boosting?
Im coming close to making a decision on what kit (turbo/s/c) im going to use to boost the box.. Im starting to lean towards a supercharger, mostly because I want to keep reliability.. the PE Supercharger seems to be the best way to go, reading some of the old posts on them. I guess they put down the most power out of the available s/c kits for the xb.

I have also read, that you should not run an aftermarket header with the PE S/C, as it will cause the charger to put out around 11 lbs of boost. I happen to already have a Greddy 4-1 Header, so would I have a problem with the PE?
I have also read that the PE's power is mostly in the high-end, as where the blitz puts down less power, but has more low-mid torque.
Can anyone help me on this, would i have a problem running the PE on my 06 auto xb, with aftermarket headers?
Or is the Blitz kit a better way to go?

wow 11lbs of boost is way to much for our little stock 1.5's i have the Greddy turbo kit, and as for reliability, well I have nothing but good things to say about it, had it now for almost 30k miles and no problems whatsoever, gas mpg is still decent too, i can get about 30 when staying within reasonable mph...

Well as I said, its an awesome kit, reliability is awesome, not to mention that I can upgrade it if I want for more power, It is true that they say that once you go boost you never want to go back.....i will elaborate on the kit more when I'm done studying for my midterms haha

Boosted can get you the kit, but it has to come thru Japan. No dealer here in the states can get them.

I know its late, but that's what the PE sounds like at idle.
