Those tires are still ok, lots of life left on the outside just reverse your camber angle!

AEM FIC arrives in 45 mins! i'll start wiring tonight and try to get some pictures for you guys. i've done some reading on AEM's forum and it appears that there have been issues with the FIC in some toyota applications. i hope i'm not one of them! anyone here have an xA/B basemap for the FIC?

[img]FIC is in, made my own basemap (basically accounted for bigger injectors and set up to pull LOTS of timing under boost). car is much slower now, but running better AFR's than before.. idles like stock and doesn't choke down low. i've rec'd estimates up to $500 for a tune which IMO is ridiculous for a couple hours of work. Phil, did you ever find out how much it'd cost me to have your guy do a tune?

oh and:

in continuation of my build not buy theme:

made this gauge pod out of aluminum flashing.. cost? under $.75 .. but it took me about 3 hours

it'll be coming back out for final paint and wiring..

Nice cluster, I was thinking of doing the same for 2 gauges with the scangaugeII in the middle or to one side..

yesterday i built this.. using some more of my cheap aluminum sheet metal :D

it mates up to the NACA duct pretty well. some tweaks are in order but it definitely made an improvement in cooling ability

fan is a definate, as well as the washer nozzle. i have all the sprayers/tubing already, should be tackling that portion shortly.

btw thanks again for the base tune.. while it didn't work out as it was, it did give me a clue as to how-to start setting up mine

That's what I was hoping, to give you a push start in the direction you need to go.

This car has turned out to be a very nice project. The gauge cluster looks SWEET!!

I have one VERY big question, how in the hell does your Valentine 1 work from way down there??

This car is so rugged its cool.

that's the concealed display ;) the V1 is currently stuck to the windshield but will probably move to above the mirror shortly.

and yes, the car is pretty rugged. no carpet anymore! gotta lose some of the weight that the turbo added :D

i just finished the PLC program.. i know a screenshot is pretty useless, but this is what 7 positions look like (1-5 + N + R) and what it takes to cycle through all of them.

i'm not gonna mess with the program anymore until i get all the components here.. checking the interlocks without physical movement is making me go cross-eyed
