Dude, you got the wiper tray to fit perfectly!! SWEET!! Cant wait to see this on the dyno. Have you noticed that Todd @ Turbo Toyotas is now making a top mount turbo?? I think your setup might have gave him some inspiration, looks like your doing things correctly if Todd is copying. The main difference in the kind of mainfold hes working with.

make sure you heat shield the wiper tray.. turbo is pretty close to that plastic (looks like it in the pic).. looking AWESOME!! you can do my box next!! lol

dude that piping is so short its gunna spool crazy quick. i would wrap that charge pipe running over the mototr or itll heat soak pretty bad, even with a vented hood, it wont hurt to wrap it anyway. make sure i/c to tb connections are very tight too man.

should be friday night when i have it running. i will be driving the car for 3-4 days minus hood (parking it inside at night) and off boost (wastegate arm disconnected) then changing the oil and starting duct work for the IC etc. i will definitely be wrapping the charge pipe as well as most of the intake pipe and already have t-bolt clamps for everything (i believe strongly in t-bolts lol)

well, no friday night startup, work got in the way..
not a ton of visual progress but i accomplished a ton today. got my wiring all sorted for the fuel computer, got the downpipe and midpipe fabbed up, finally buttoned down my intake area and got the oil cooler mounted/plumbed. put oil in it to check for leaks, so far none. i'm afraid the filter i'm running doesn't have a big enough o-ring footprint to not leak with the sandwich adaptor . guess we'll find out when i crank her up tomorrow. i ended up putting my water temp line at the bottom of the radiator next to the outlet to the pump. i figure having a stock water temp/idiotlight in the "proper" location (hottest point in the engine) leaves me open to put the defi sensor somewhere more informative. i figure this way i can keep an eye on how well my stock radiator is keeping up on cooling. i so far have not had to cut ANY of my stock ecu wires as i had a spare harness that i grabbed the MAF portion of the harness out of and just spliced it into the stock wiring harness on the passenger side instead of drivers. saves me headaches later if i ever have to pull the turbo out (you know, when the motor throws a rod in a few months ;) )
tomorrow i begin final button down and trying to program my fuel computer. i am short an rs232 cord (serial) for that AND the innovate wideband. i can at least get the defi stuff set up..
