Default RP T28 turbo kit xb

Hey guys, we have been working on a new kit that will allow for a larger turbo (for those of you looking for up to 320hp). The kit will use a hybrid set up, will not have a remote turbo set up and will reach full boost just under 3100rpm. Just wanted to throw the info out there for those of you who dont want to mount their turbo under the car. We expect prototypes to be completed late Jan, early Feb.

Happy Birthday Eloy, you old man you..

Got more details there buddy.. This is not a bigger turbo that you put on the Greddy kit is it? It is a whole new kit... Will it come with FMIC, injectors, external wastgate and ECU managment?

Dude... Eloy! You've been holdin' out on me! So when can I check out this prototype of yours? Is it on your car? Any thoughts on cost? And I won't even ask the CARB question.

Might just have to plan a trip down their sooner rather than later. My brother is even talking about taking his car down to have you guys put it on the dyno for some base runs. He's set on NA by the way. Too much work to swap out the 12:1 pistons. No, this isn't on a Scion guys.

OK... fine...

So Eloy...

Will the Race Precision 320 hp T28 Hybrid Turbo Kit be CARB legal? I mean... I see no reason why it couldn't be. Only more than tripling the power of the already notoriously quick 1NZ-FE. Besides, didn't your old shop used to do stuff involving CARB certification?

Seriously though. What's the deal? How much can you tell us? What parts are you guys sourcing from other companies, and what will be RP originals? Oh and what sort of hybrid are you doing? Like a T28/T04 or T28/T3?

I'm anxious to see what you guys come up with.

Been a member over there ever since Eloy changed shops. Trust me, it doesn't make you privy to much.

I think I am just going to have to plan another trip down to LA so I can see what they have cooking.

For now I am off to go install that Magnaflow exhaust on the wife's car.

Just some little info for you guys. We arent working on the xB so we can race supercharged TCs or Mustangs. You can see by what kind of cars we have at our shop, what our expectations are for the xB. Its got to hang with the rest of our cars.

Scion xb, 06 Sky, 05 Noble M12, 03 911 turbo, 05 Elise turbo.

If you look under the xb, the motor is out... In goes the pistons, rods, rings, headgasket and valvetrain....

Nice shot of the new shop Eloy. Where is the dyno though? I thought you guys had a dyno?

And I figured you would be going with a full build on the motor once I saw your original post on the thread. So how long until the world's fastest xB hits the streets? Looks like we might start having an East/West rivalry that could benefit the entire Scion community.

Seriously though, will any remnants of the old Greddy kit remain? Or are you starting all over from scratch? Are you moving over to a Haltech stand alone?

Man... I seriously need to plan another trip down to LA.

i would think that this is a production kit correct me if im wrong...and as for the upped internals it is because he has a goal of 300+hp so it would be best to start off that way.......boost as much as you can till something breaks, find out what broke, upgrade the broken part, and repeat......correct me if im wrong on this as well
