Kenny, Mark, and the ZPI bunch. My deposit is in your account. Now let's whip this bastard out I have 2006 box looking for some "oomph". Where Greddy and other's have failed I hope you will succeed...

Kenny, I'll see you in the afternoon at Expo Houston!

Kenny, it was really great getting to meet with you and talk about the kit. Sounds like your dyno (which I won't spoil the suprise by letting the numbers leak prematurely without sheets) run was awesome and the xb is definately putting down some power for being the weak box that it once was. You'll soon have test results from down here in Houston once you start releasing some test kits. Full funding is available.. hit me up when you get back into town..

Yeah, it was cool to talk to the main guy in person. He suprised me though, him being in KY, I didn't expect him to be so damn tan.

The numbers are impressive to say the least.

Yes.. but i'd rather be impatient and have a quality product instead of something rushed.. I just met with him yesterday.. they are finalizing the kits and things should be rolling hopefully this month (not a direct quote)... dyno sheets will be up this week..

who cares about any numbers unless it's carb legal. if ANY company makes carb legal parts they will sell SOOOO many.

Same here... though I do feel for our friends in California.... But out here in TX we don't have as many limitations...

I'm hoping to be one of the first in a series of boosted 06s in texas specifically Houston. I'm really excited about the kit.. the data/etc I've seen so far is enticing and my conversations with Kenny in person have really been informative.

yeah adding a turbo while haveing a very restrictrive stock exhaust makes no sense whatsoever. especially when exhaust is cheap yet the turbo is expensive.

the stock exh almost makes the turbo kit pointless.

dc sport is an axle back not worth it. get a custom made cat back exhaust. using 2.5 inch piping . cheap , and probably the most hp for a turbo application.

Correcto.... and really easy to weld on an aftermarket exhaust (greddy/borla/etc)

Wondering where and how Greddy or Blitz failed?

you obviously have not been tuning cars for a while, being 21 and all. Do some research and look at most aftermarket exhausts that are available for the XB. It is simply a slight curve of piping and a freeflowing muffler. Hardly worth the $250-350. The stock muffler is not as restrictive as you might all think. Yes, I will be upgrading but not with anything out on the market now, with exception of the Magnaflow. The key is "tuning" the exhaust and not just slapping any aftermarket on there. People think that just because its "higher flowing" that its the best thing to get. You need to have the right combination of piping size, sound, flow, etc. Sorry, but Im not going to slap on a fart can exhaust just because its offered. Doubt it, Ill prove it on the dyno. pointless? 149wtq is hardly pointless. Yeah Im only making 116whp but its almost a good balance right now for MY driving style.

If you ask me its more pointless to spend near $1200 for intake, headers, and exhaut for minimal gains.

As far as selling sooooooooo many turbo kits if they were carb legal. Thats an overstatement also. Why do Greddy and Blitz position their prices in the way they do? You cant sell sooooo many $3500+ kits to owners of $15k cars. It just doesnt make sense. Most people who have Scions drive them because they are cheap and reliable (with exception of those who purchase them as commuters).
