I know they had a local guy coming in to the shop with an xA, to test it on and i also beleive from what i read on their forums that they just bought a xA to test and fab the kit on. So i think you dreams will becoming true very very soon.

That video was cool, my question is when the final kit is complete will it throw the warning lights like the box in that video does?

I would hope not and dont think so, but the CEL is on in the vid due to the lack of a cat and O2 sensor. Also they said the traction light is on due to the amount of horsepowr making the wheels spin so much, that the computer is freaking out. Shoot latley ive been making my traction light come on due to gunning it and the wheels spinning for a split sec. and ive got no where near the HP this things gonna have. But as ZPI has stated before thay are going to thoroughly test this kit before they mass produce it for the public, to make sure it is a well oiled machine. Hope this helps answers your questions and im sure the guys at ZPI will chime in on it to.

As long as you're running a CAT, you should be ok. The VSC thing is questionable, i guess it depends on how much you spin the tires.

The other light was traction control, which we had disabled via the button.

Of course, the xA has no VSC or Traction control, so no worries there.

The VSC should stay off if you are not trying to do e-brake slides in the xB or trying to prove the theory it will tip over if pushed hard enough into a curve........not to say this is why our light is on but you get the idea..

The trac and vsc lights will be on as long as the CEL is on. When a CEL is triggered the ECU goes into safe mode and disables both the VSC and Traction Control. At least this is what the mechanics at my local dealership told me.

Sweet that helps a lot, one more question would it do the same thing if a pipe was made to exit past the cat behind the passenger side wheel? I know it's not street legal but just askin.

Well i would think as long as the cat and the O2 after the cat are present then you shouldn't have to worry about the CEL coming on. It will just be super loud and as you said may not be street legal.

This is incorrect the CEL is not in anyway linked to a safe mod or the other lights. If the CEL is triggered for a misfire then maybe but a car inefficency code will not a trigger other instrumental lights and will not make the car act any different with the exception of a little more fuel.

because we e-brake slide the car and drive it like idiots. When you reset the ecu the CEL will come back on the others will stay off until you do something stupid in the car.

That happens every now and then when we are at auto-x events. Took it back to the dealerships and they reset it and now it rarely comes back on.
