Are you going to be competing in SPL competitions?
Ive build quite a few SPL vehicles and would love to do one in the xB. Get with me on this.
Check out my echo-audio link my record breaking meca truck is on there.

My last truck I built had 4 15s with 8 amps
The 15s were quad 1ohm coils and paralleled 2 coils together to run at 1/2ohm on each amp.
Since more then one amp was powering each sub I had to oscope each amp individually until they were all even which took a good part of an hour leading me to lose a bit of hearing lol.
But that damn thing was loud.
Best way to make sure the port is correct is to make removable ports. Ive been doing this for quite some time and gives me the ability to play around with it after the box has been built. Calculations arent always the best thing to go by, sometimes you just need to play around.
There is many other little things that will increase db as far as the actual box building goes.
I have to ask what kind of equipment you are planning on using.
