ok so what did you do? does the 06 dseck use ipbus input like other pioneer decks ? if you could provide a list of what parts you used and where you got them it'd be much abliged. am looking to hookup a cheap input for my ipod. i dont need or want to control it thru my deck. i just need a way to have an input into my 7600 pioneer deck. without spending upwards of 90.00 to make it controlled thru the deck only which i absolutely do not want.

2005 over 2006 same plugs the only difference is 1 extra plug for the I pod and steering wheel control. We have a great installer here at Scion of Glendora. I'm not sure how long it took him but he did a great job.

No you need the 2006 because of the extra plug.

that is so nice! how much is the unit and cable adapter/ including the jack, if you don't mind me asking.

i have seen somewhere, a dock for the ipod. it would look better if this can be done. more cleaner/ no cable showing.

Yeah does the whole deck (buttons and all) change colors now or just the LCD like in past years?

What part of "the stock cd player is not equipped with an ipbus port" do you people not understand? Take the thing out and look at it, it has toyota plugs. If you want to use aftermarket pioneer stuff, you'll have to buy an aftermarket stereo.
