I am an owner of a 2006 Scion xA and I am having trouble programming my remotes. I know that this car did not come with standard keyless remote entry so I looked and found a RS3200 Remote Module in my car. Couple of weeks ago I replaced my battery and when I installed the new battery the alarm went off. Therefore, I thought that the remote module was still working properly. I bought remotes for this car with the correct FCC ID and I must have tried to program the remotes over 30 times with NO success. I am very confused and I don't know how to get car to "LOCK and UNLOCK" to tell me it is in programming mode after doing the step of turning the ignition switch fro "LOCK TO ON TO OFF"( A step in the remote programming). I am doing every step correctly but I am not able to program the remotes. Is there a switch on the remote module I have to turn on in order to receive the remote signals? Is there a SPECIFIC step I must do in order to do the programming correctly? Why am I not able to program the remotes?
