So you didn't do anything to the center console because a dremmel wouldn't widen the stock hole? I thought the 7" fit perfectly in there and I know the 8" needed some cutting to get the whole picture to fit.

Are you getting all your picture or is a fraction (even if it is the smallest amount) of the picture being lost behind the console? Cuz (hypothetically speaking), I could put a 12" monitor behind it, loose the 4" of screen, but still say I have a 12" in dash.

So 9" is perfect?

does any part of the viewable area hide behind the dash frame? That is one nice setup...i love the way the screen fills the whole dash.

There is no screen past the viewable area left to right and there is just about 1/8 of an inch of screen missing off of the heighth. You cannot tell that the screen is blocked at all - it is so close that all wording, etc shows up just fine (see the first pic - you can tell no video is being blocked out) and it never seems like you are missing any video. The opening is completely unaltered. The only alterations are on the back of the dash. The factory opening seems to actually be made for a 9 inch screen.
