_____?? LED Dome Light ??
so i have a led dome light form autolumination.com. its worked great over the past year but with one issue. when im driving around and the dome should be off, it isnt. there is a very slight greenish glow (its a blue light). Im thinkin its because the LEDs need very little power and they are pickin up a minor connection. i know the dome is wired strange so i think its possible. i have a spare twin to that bulb. im wondering if i should solder the 2 bulbs together and let both of them run, thus providing more light and more ressistance. Think i should try it?

is it possibe that the bulb is making contact with the roof or something metal that a standarb bulb wouldn't? If it is, you could put a peice of electrical tape over that contact point to stop it. If I understand correctly, LEDs run much cooler than incandescant and will probably not melt the tape.

The "variable ground" supplied by the electronics in the "Door Lock Control Relay" module under the speedo to the dome light maintains a high-resistance ground to the dome light fixture even when the dome light is nominally off.
With some LED devices this will cause them to glow slightly (mine do, also).
