Im just about 100% sure people have. What most people have been doing is coloring the LEDs in the dash to get the color they desire. Check out the tech section on how to do that. Its not to difficult.

Can't help but notice you can't see the Needle at night. What were they thinking?

I'd like to know, too. These would look good in my xA.

I installed this gauge in my xB. Guage looks cool...easy to see during the day and night and you can control the brightness. Beware though, anyone who installs this gauge on the xB needs to know that you must modify the gas gauge needle. You have to cut it some or it will get stuck! The RPM decal you stick on gets in the way of the needle so you must pop off the needle and trim it back. I couldn't pop off my needle (didn't even know at the time if I could since the directions don't even mention anything about this) so I trimmed the RMP decal instead. Hard to notice but I'm not happy with it and requested a new RMP decal but they wouldn't ship me one. Poor customer service and very poor directions but a pretty cool gauge. Hopefully they will fix this problem soon. Not sure if this is a problem with the xA but I would ask!

Default AC AutoTechnic install guide

Anyone make a tech guide yet on how to install these. I have installed it in mine and can do it. It comes on when i turn my lights on and all. I did have to do a few mods to make it fit but nothing really that bad. Honestly in that pick they have in the store doesnt have the gas needle and tach lights on. It is very bright so dont let that pic fool you. If you want me to do one with pics and all i can have it up this time tomorrow.

I tried to tell you guys about the gas needle issue a few months back when I got mine. They messed up bigtime when they made the gauges. I just moved the damn thing over a hair and it works now, But you can see the ugly a$$ pink alittle now

PM bBist (Steve) for the gauges. It has the bBist logo on the gauge. I might hit up steve to install the gauge in a couple of weeks.

Actually, the bBist gauge is made by us, not AC autotechnic.
(just for clarification)

We made our gauge so you don't even need to take off the needles. No modification required. 2 wires (illumination and ground), there are 2 tabs to hold the gauge in place (factory positioning points), and it changes 6 different colors!

I just got mine in the mail today. The instructions are pretty poor. I'm not comfortable with electrical installations, but this one seems simple. I am assuming that I only need to use on of the 4 black plugs provided. Is this true? Also, the toughest thing for me to figure out is where and how exactly do I connect the hot wire to the parking lights switch? Hope you can help. thanks!

I just installed the bBist.com instrument replacement/overlay.

Easy enuff to take apart the dash and remove and install the new instrument cluster face. I just used one of the plugs, which best suits the location of the "black box", and EvilDave provided the info to hook up the power line.

I used the green wire, that EvilDave suggested, that attaches to the white plug on the far right wire harness of the climate controls. It took a few minutes to get the needles adjusted to their approriate positions, and a few balsts on the freeway to make sure everything was lined up properly. On my xB, at 80 mph and in 5th gear, I'm spinning 4k on the tach.

EvilDave replaced the silver center on the speedo w/ blue tint. I'm just going to cut a piece of faux CF vinyl and overlay the silver center.

Nice quick install.

THANKS STEVE.

Usual disclaimer: I have no financial interest, yada, yada, yada......................

True. Only one of the black plugs needs to be used.
