AC/ Defrost/ and Emergency Buttons

they are very tiny leds that are ssoldered in, you would need to but extremely small ones and solder them in place, but is it really worth the time and effort you will put in to finding led's and doing the mod?

I was just thinking about this same thing & also if it's worth it or not I think it is if your into detail. I would not even try to attempt it myself though. I would need some one who knows how to do it proff.
My whole dash is Red LED's with white contrast in the gauges to the main Red's An inverted red LCD for the mileage etc. My Needles are white as well. So to give a decent contrast I would have the A/C AND don't forget the amber "Airbag" signals in the xA, I would do them white.
This would offer a full completed Mod for the car.

Alright. I don't know about the xa but the xb's air bag light is easy to change, it's a couple inches under the climate controls. The bulb is easy to take out, but very hard to put back in. Not even needle nose pliers can put the bulb back in place. You need to giggle the dash faceplate until the bulb sits into place.

If you mean the lights which indicate that the function is turned on then that gets more complicated. The AC "on" indicator is a green LED soldered right into the switch. I replaced it with a (more apropriate) cool blue LED. I had to take the switch apart to do that. The defroster light is a small light bulb which can be easily taken out and replaced.

There is no bulb in the AC control. There is a small bulb in the defroster switch. No bulbs or LEDs in the hazard switch - just like I explained in my last post.
LED is a T-1 size (3mm). But depending on what you replace it with, you'll have to swap the resistor that goes along with it (to get the brightness right).
As far as the defroster bulb goes, I don't recall the size. It was small 12V bulb. Maybe 3mm? IIRC, it was in a Neo-Wedge base.
