Default add on remote start, help please.

what does it mean by
Connect this wire to the pulsed ground output from the remote alarm system, in most cases, it will be connected to the second or third channel output from the alarm, when the dark blue wire receieves a ground pulse, the vehicle will start.

remote start signal input: dark blue wire

1st, you should not be installing this if you have to ask!!!
2nd it is a wire that is used if you have to use a bypass for pats or some other type of factory security.

Our cars do not need this because there is no chip in the key.

it sounds like an add-on remote start to me. the sentence sounds pretty straight forward, hook the Dark Blue wire up to either Channel 2 or Channel 3 output of the alarm, whichever sends a ground (-) pulse when you push the button, that will begin the remote start process.

however I have to agree with Tankgod, if you are having questions you might want to look into getting it professionaly installed. the last thing you want is to mees up something in the car.

Ill help what kind of alarm is it? i just put a remote start in and I have 2 xb's that I put in my own remote start in. I owne a car audio store I do remote starts all the time. IF I dont know the answer Ill find out for you.

Violent b is right with what you need to do with that wire. find a 3 or 4 channel neg out when armed so you can remote start when armed.
