This man is correct. I didn't turn on my 6 LED dome light for the pictures, otherwise it would have been even brighter. I have more LEDs going in very soon . . . Thanks for the compliments.

Can anyone else confirm that if you tie these handle leds into your dome light, you lose the fading?

I plan to get an Oznium 16 led board for my dome light, and I was kicking around the idea of getting the Oznium thin led strips to put in the handles. I would want the handles to come on when the dome light comes on, but if the handle lights won't fade, I don't think I want them.

it'll act the same way if wired as such.

So, if I tap the handle lights into the power for the dome light, all lights fade properly?

Sorry, you're answer isn't entirely clear to me.

yes. if they are wired into the dome properly, they will fade out. the trick is to wire it to the dome properly so that you don't short the door lock control relay (under the speedo, runs about 4 hundy)

They will fade. I believe this is done by ramping down the voltage to the light. The voltage to the LEDs and incadescent bulbs are the same (12 volt). The current is different due to the resistors added to LEDs.
