actually, I have a couple of switches that I can use to independently put the ocraps and the puddle lamps in one of three states: (always on/always off/on when doors are open)

so, what i'm saying is that i can set the handles to respond to the doors and keep the puddles constantly on, vice versa, or set them both to the same state. alternatively, I can turn one or both entirely off

under the condition where the lights respond to the doors only, the lights fade out with the dome light. all four handles come on at the same time. they are not wired independently of each other.

A writeup of how you did that would be greatly appreciated by more than a few of us here.

Cherrybox, could you please rely with a line drawing or pictures of how you have this set up?
Could you also tell which wires to tap into to get control from the dome light for the fading on door operation? without frying the door lock module Don't want to do that
This is the way I would like wire mine. all the options!!!!!

Thanks

Awesome!!! Thanks much for the reply and I look forward to seeing how you have your hooked up. I just bought all my wires for hook up and plan on wiring up soon! This will be the info I need to complete my plan. Hope you like your job, sure sucks when your busy and you don't like it. Not so bad when you like what your doing.

Take care, and I look forward to you posting.

So I can just run these off an add-a-circuit?

I figured I'd post mine too, just did this a few weeks ago. I have one switch for the "oh-shiets" and one switch for the bottom foot/underseat cathodes. Worked out nice.

OK, I ordered 4 of the 4.7" BLUE Flexible LED strips for the roof handles, and 2 of the scion oem flip switches. 1 is for my underbody blue neons and one will be for the roof handle lights.
My only question for all of you, should I hook the roof handle switch to the neons I have under dash and under seat? That way all of them will turn on at once? Or should I buy another switch to control those, just incase the roof handle lights annoy me while I drive long distances at night?
Thanks for your help!!!!!!!

I've got both my handles and under seat/dash lites on one switch. I don't usually drive with them on tho. With dark tint at night it can get hard to see with the roof handles on.

yea, the handles swivel dont they? there's not really a place to hide any lights in the tc handles. I wonder if you could replace them with xb handles. I bet the bolt spacing is probably different.

I did this a while back and wired it through my dome light so it comes on and off with it.

Has anyone else had a problem with the led strips going out? I have had a couple of strips that have had a couple of lights go out.

no, it's not a loose wire, some of them work, and a couple have gone out on 2 of the strips.

Got the LED strips yesterday, after only 4 days! AND they gave me 2 decals for my box, YES! I did cancel the switch order, as a buddy picked up 3 of them for me from Lowes. I'll try to put these in the box this weekend, and put pictures on later. Wish me luck.

Did you fabricate the strips yourself?
Or did you buy the ones from Oz?
