Default Adding cruise control, 05 xB

I searched and read up on a few aftermarket installs that you all have done, but wondered why you all don't do a factory stick... isn't that all you need?

What are my cruise options?

There IS no "factory" cruise control for the xB Classic (pre 2007 models).

Aftermarket is the only choice (though some "southeast" dealers may have incorrectly represented aftermarket units as "factory" especially if they were installed at the port of entry...).

The one I would recommend off the top of my head is the 250-1755 Rostra Cruise Control for the 2004-06 xA and xB.

There are others, but that is the one most everyone uses, and the one some dealers were calling "OEM."

Installation is straightforward...

I just finished my Rostra install a couple weeks ago. You can find them on sale on eBay or just Google it. Install takes a couple hours, and make sure you read the directions carefully. PM me if you have any questions if you do finally do the install.

This is the one I bought and it arrived swiftly: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rostr...#ht_500wt_1182
