I just became the second owner of a very well taken care of '06 xA. While the stock stereo sounded okay, I decided to install my Alpine iDA X100 head unit. This unit has both 1/8" and USB inputs and I wanted the USB especially as it would charge my i devices while playing.

My car only came with the aux jack and I REALLY wanted a factory looking solution. I found Eduardo's AMAZING thread on how he added the Tundra USB / AUX jack to his Tacoma here: http://tinyurl.com/mjeanx4

I decided to do this and found myself wanting more information and pictures on how to do this so I Scionized his great tutorial and wanted to offer mine to the community. Hopefully it will help somebody, or encourage someone who might be timid of doing something like this and get them hooked on modding.
