Weel, it really depends on the VC's on the subs which amp you should go for.

Until we know that, kinda hard to say.

they are dual 2ohm and 600 watts rms and 1800 watts max... power acoustik speakers are good, but their amps... well just say the most expensive pa amp is like 150-200... had 2 **** 15's in my buddys truck and it was insane! he used 2 audiobahn flame amps tho... thanks guys

Hmm...2 ohm final load.

If you can find one, a Tsunami dB1800T...I had one for a bit over a year, worked great for me...took it out when I moved down to eD

Nine.1 would get you 8~900W RMS @ 2 ohms depending on what kind of voltage went into it, $315 with the SL forum discount.

I think this would be decent for cheap power. A lot of people run them, somewhat over rated though in their output.

kicker makes a 600w mono and a 400w 4chenel... i could bridge the 4 ch amp to one speaker and get 2 amps or i could just split the power from the 600w amp... what u guys think?

Well, the subs handle 600W RMS each. If that's an accurate rating, I'd suggest looking for 1 mono block amp that does around 1kW at 2 ohms. The Nine.1 and the HiFonics mentioned above both do this.

If you wanted to go with Kicker, a pair of KX600.1's would be your best bet for this.

ok well for now i just want eather 2 400w or 1 600w. i would guess that the 2 400w 4ch would be best since it is dual voice coil... correct?

If you're set on either 1 600W mono or 2 400W 4 channel amps, get the 1 600W mono amp. You probably won't notice a difference in output and it'll save you an insane headache in wiring.

the number of VC's doesn't have any bearing on how many channels you have....

If you're set on getting 2 amps, get 2 that are 500 or 600 watts MONO at 1ohm stable..... this will give you 500-600 per sub... You'll be able to take each sub and wire the VC's together in parallel making 1ohm per sub.

If you want to just have one amp (best bet IMO) get a MONO 1000-1200 watt 2ohm stable amp.... You'll be able to take each sub, wire them both in series independently (making each sub a single 4ohm load) then wire the 2 subs in parallel to make a 2ohm load total...

^^ that will be good if you have an amp that is 1000-1200 RMS watts @ 2ohm mono.... If you want 2 seperate amps, then you'll wire each amp to each sub like this:

that will give you a 1ohm load at each amp....this means each amp will need to be 500-600 RMS watts @ 1ohm mono

It needs to be 1200 watts mono @ 2ohms

you'd wire it like this:
