Also, just for future reference, you can go to adobe.com and DL their Acrobat Reader for free. It will let you read all PDF files.

there should be a channel 1&2 and channel 3&4... wire it to channel 1+ and channel 2- straight to the sub's + and -.... there should be a line connecting those 2 terminals I mentioned and it should say "bridge" on it... it'll just be a drawn/printed on line on the amp casing. It may instruct you to use Channel 2+ and channel 1- instead so just do what it says on the amp... only use 2 of the 4 channels available...

I would advise against using a two channel (or in this case a four channel bridged to two) amplifier running each of two different voice coils on one sub. If you are able to EXACTLY match the gains and are sure that both coils are receiving exactly the same signal be my guest, but I suspect that very few people would be able to acheive such a result. My suggestion is to use the MTX Thunder 4160 to power your midranges and tweeters as that is a very fine (transparent) sounding amplifier. I personally will be hooking up it's big brother (MTX Thunder 4320) tomorrow. Mark

He said it's a single voice coil sub, not dual. Otherwise, I totally agree with you. Never hook individual voice coils up to separate channels of an amp. You are just asking for trouble. If you blow only one coil, more than likely, you would be SOL. Most manufacturers will refuse warranty service on a woof with a single blown coil. The manufacturer will assume it was installed incorrectly and refuse to replace it under warranty.

It may or may not be. It really depends on the sub. I'm guessing in this application it will be just fine. Mark
