Any one know how to install an alarm LED Scanners?
I have a Varad alarm LED Scanner, which has 3 wires have to connect, they are ground wire (Black), a constant 12V (Red) and one is for the Alarm system accessory output or ground output when armed (Yellow).
I know where to connect the black and red. But where should I connect the yellow one if I want the Scannes activate when I press the lock button at the remote?
Mine is a 06 xB and i want to using that without an alarm.
Thanks,

What I did for my friend's car was just piggyback the yellow wire into the ACC fuse and that was it. Just wrapped the wire around one side of the fuse and put it back in. What this does is that when the car is off the scanner will be on always, and when you turn on the ACC or start the car power will go to the unit to turn it off. You can also get a piggyback fuse from the autoparts store that will give you an extra slot and fuse off of the ACC fuse if you want to do it alittle less ghetto.

Thanks for the replies, but all the solutions here are only making the scanner lights up when the car is off but not when I lock the car.
Is it possible to make the scanner lights up only when I lock the car's doors? May be connect it to the remote door lock receiver??
Thanks
