like this one on ebay it has a phillips tuner and a samsung chip. moterized with sd card slot and usb port. 5.1 channel. it sounds alot like the xo vision. also it is 7 inch instead of 6.5 and it has touchscreen. all for 325.00

I just picked up a power acoustik single din DVD with a 3.5¨ screen off ebay for about $250. I got it because i needed a removeable face unit, as our parking lot at work gets hit all the time. I´m a huge Alpine fan and wasn't expecting much, but really love it. It´s got sd, tv, dvd, am/fm, ipod.

i purchased a valor and it's pretty good. the sound quality was slacking, but once i hooked up an eq, it was as good as anything and plays all types of funky formats. definately a good buy for the money.

Very interesting. I posted the review on the XO Vision deck. The USB port is a plus. Not sure if that's truly a 7" screen though. Also says it can handle GPS and software upgrades but I would question the support being that it's no-name.

Looks a helluva a lot like the XO Vision unit just with a bigger screen. Look at the chassis, the light under the CD slot, and the hinge mechanism. SD card reader also in the same exact spot.

yes i see your review on the xo vision that is what started my whole inquest into the double din radios. i read closer on the opsions for the unnamed one and it says the 5.1 is optional also is something called "RDS" where the xo vision has it standered.
what is RDS? and how do you like the xovison so far?

RDS is Radio Data System. It can broadcast stuff like song information and advertisements. I haven't seen any RDS info display on my head unit. I do remember seeing RDS in the menu somewhere but I've had it on other radios and I don't really use it.

The XOVision is just quirky, for my purposes it serves me pretty well. I just bought another 2 GB SD card to store more DiVX files on it. I really like the card reader to play media files, just wish it supported SDHC for the larger capacities.

Still wish it had hard FF and RW buttons. The GUI could be better. It wouldn't surprise me if I could update the firmware on it and get a new GUI but it's hard to find that information out since their website sucks.

If you look at the pictures I posted above, what it looks like is that the front panel which holds the LCD and has the buttons is where they made the updates. Other than that, everything basically looks the same. On the back of the XO Vision head units, there were blank spots where I think one of them was a GPS option that is unavailable.

If I had to choose between the XO and this no-namer, I would choose this no-name brand right now because I think it's the same internals but with updated features and maybe a better GUI, who knows. For this price, they are very hard to beat. Very curious about the USB because a lot of players have a mass storage mode and that would enable you to tap into very large memory objects. 2GB on my SD cards is a bit on the small side IMO.
