That's awful. You can see in my original post that I questioned if it was a 7" screen because the borders looked too thick to be a 7" screen. I know this from installing the Kenwood 6.95" screens and there is barely a border around the stereo. Looks like what happened was they enlarged the entire face of the unit. This is shocking and stupid.

Just an update on the XOVision head unit. It's still working. Once in a while, the touchscreen gets out of sync and needs to be recalibrated. I forgot how I did it last time but I think the reset button can fix it. AM tuner is a bit on the weak side as well.

The deck in this thread has the exact same GUI and remote as the XOVision. Thank you China!

yes from what i can tell this is the same exact unit as the xo except to make it a 7 inch they took the buttons off the sides to make the screen bigger and moved the buttons to the bottom wich makes it bigger then a normal 4 in tall double din witch made me have to cut the dash :-( the screen is also thicker so it sticks out the dash futher. I SHOULD HAVE WENT WITH THE XO VISION> it looks much cleaner than this one. I have had a few dvds say they can not play the disk because of it being a region 1 dvd (USA AND CANADA). well i live in region 1 and it is a region 1 dvd and i bought the player in region 1... thanks china. how do you recalibrate the screen, mine hasnt messed up but it would be nice to know?

I think if you hit the reset button it will take you through the reset diagnostics screen.

The unit was correctly calibrated this morning when I started the car. I guess it just needed some time. The problem was that the unit was about 2 buttons off on the touchscreen controls. Really odd, you definitely need the remote.

I've owned other DD units from Kenwood and Eclipse. These are problems that you do not have with the quality units...

Is there a website for the firmware for the deck? I'd like to try to update the firmware on my stereo...

the price is nice, but the issues would scare me off. I am very happy with my alpine iva d310, no problems and the nav, bluetooth and headrest screens all plugged in no prob.
