I don't think anyone knows what you're talking about. A link to one that you are considering getting would helpful if possible.

TRD makes a stand alone shift light. 6 ( i think) blue led's that you can set to a certain flashing patter (0-300rpm, 300-600, etc.) or sequential/flashing. u can pm squirrel ; i know he has one.... id love it, but i cant shuck out 200$

I actually saw one on eBay the other day when I was looking for tC stuff. But the one crayon is talking about sounds a bit nicer. The one I saw was kind of shady.

Just curious though, why would you want to add one? IMO, they're kind of annoying. I know when to shift... and don't want a light to tell me.

EDIT: Check out TRD USA - as of me posting this, the shift light is on the front page. Or you can just type in "shift light" into the search box and it will come right up. Apparently works with all Scions.

i have this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33679

i havnt had a chance to hook it up yet but all you do is hook up a power wire, ground wire and then tap into the tach wire...then adjust the rpm that you want it to turn on at and mount it where you want

I have the TRD sequential shift light cuz I wanted something that didn't have the "LOOK AT ME" bling when it was parked. You only know its there whent he car is running and set to a specific mode.

If you need help hooking up the shift light, let me know. I have the wiring schematic for the factory tach. I think its the green wire you need to "T" tap.

I'm not sure as I'm no expert as other claim that I am.
