no prob...its a simple mistake to make....if i didn't have 2 units controlling four of my windows i might have not noticed ....

Let's try and stay on topic here. Question and discussion is about using parts from other Toyota's to make this work. Specifically, I have a 2002 4Runner with auto up and down windows. The switches are identical on the 4Runner and xB.

So far I believe that we have determined that the switch is one neccesary part of the puzzle, as member engifineer describes a few posts back.

Now the control mechanism: where is it located and what is it specifically? Is it a specific relay of some sort? Does it even exist at all?

Perhaps all that is needed is the switch. Can anyone confirm or deny? Please discuss.

the xB only has the window switch controling things....

nothing other than the window swicth should be required...
