Default Avh-p3100dvd installed.

This is my first 2-Din Radio of any kind, so I really don't have much to compare it to.
Regardless, I think it's awesome and does exactly what I wanted. My only gripe with the unit is when scrolling through a list, it moves down one-by-one and it would only make more sense to go down in pages. You can change the background on this unit, and it plays Divx movies even though I'm still trying to figure out how. It doesn't seem to like my flash drive. I got it for $300 dollars.

Whoops. I put it up in the TC section. Maybe a mod can delete this one or merge em.

The door does close perfectly. I heard that for some AVIC's you have to drill holes a lil back so that the door closes but I didn't have a problem.

Ive got the same unit coming for my box. I like the looks of it, and needed some video.

You bypass the ebreak?

The only way around it is by making a relay or a switch and I didn't have the time or the know-how to do it. So I did it legally.

If you click the eBrake up just one notch though, the car seems perfectly drivable and you can watch video that way. I don't feel any wear on the brake, it feels like it isn't even touching. I'm not sure though, so I won't risk it.

yeah, just a simple relay switch from what ive read will do it. Wire the parking break do the switch, then ground the switch and it works.

I've also done that method too with my old avic D3 and f90bt. in that case, it would have been free. plenty of how-to's posted on the forums.

If you get a closed momentary switch, all you have to do is hide the switch. It'll play regardless.

I'll get installed pics later today.
