It should be plug and play, but what is the difference from the JDM bB wheel and the USDM 7th gen Celica and the USDM 8th and 9th Gen Corolla S with leather wrapped wheels?

That plug pictured will not fit the USDM '04 xB. I have an '04 and it has two plugs and my plugs look different than that one. I am not sure about the other years though.

I've heard that the airbag will NOT work. It's a tricky thing to test, I guess you just have to hope that you'll never have to find out.
It's a damn shame, that wheel is friggin sweet.

if i were to get this and run with either no airbag or the airbag connector doesnt work. is that going to throw a code or anything saying that i have driven the car with no airbag and mess up my resale (if i ever were to sell the box)

i am not worried about an airbag because i know i am not going to hit anyone.

i just wish there were a way to take the scion emblem off and put a toyota one in there and it actually look good, thats the only scion badge still on my car and it irritates me every time i pay attention to it.

I think you're better off getting that same wheel from the USDM Celica or the USDM Corolla.

Yes, Installing this without connecting the plug will throw an SRS light, the SRS system looks for a specific resistance. When that resistance is not there (like when the airbag is unplugged) you will get a stupid light on your dash until you correct it and have someone with a proper scan tool to reset the light. It will become a pain in the ___ because not every scan tool can do this, you might need a higher end scan tool to reset the light. If you really want to get rid of the emblem. Why don't you just get an after-market steering wheel like a MOMO or Sparco steering wheel? You should be able to find one for relatively cheap, plus it's way lighter than any steering wheel with an airbag.
