You are gonna need more then 1 set of components. I put single 6.5" Focal speakers in the doors, custom mounted 4" Focal speakers in the dash and then 5.25" in the hatch. That ____ is banging. One set of 6.5" - 1" components wont do much especialy if you are getting 4 - 15's. Why don't you cut it down to like 2 - 12's and then you wont have to worry so much about the speakers. 4 - 15's is way too much in an OPEN AIR car. Talk to some pros first and get there 411 on what set up will suit your needs best.

130 watts to the tweets alone is way more the n you will need.... with power like that you will not have a good even sound... I don't think the tweeters will even take that...

I would suggest 25 - 40 rms to the tweets 100 - 150 for the mid's... depending on preference of sound...

Most good components x-overs split the power, they don't give the mids more than the tweeters or vice versa...

Yeah the focal have a seperate crossover that you can power each piece individually or a deticated input for the crossover to do it's job and distribute power accordingly. To be honest I do not know all that much about crossovers when it comes to getting into detail with them. I just basically know their purpose....I think I need to chill with the 4 15's idea. I think 2 15's will be enough for me.....Picture this Fiberglass ported box wrapped in Black Suede to match my interior....Sweet

I will get with a good car audio shop to make sure about the components and what not.
Thanks for everything fellas..
Now the big question is....which 15's should I be getting?
I'm still thinking about the JLW3v2 15" subs....
I'm so fickle. I think I will just have to go to a Car Audio shop to see what I can fit in my ride and whatever mood that it am in that day I will hook up....
One 15 or Foru 12's....guess it all depends what I feel like.

Austin

Can never go wrong with JL subs but if you would like I could give you some other great options as well...

if you have ever biamped a set of components you can adjust the power going to the tweeters and mids seperately.... hence biamping them...

I agree. JL Are all around Smooth ___ subs....
My Eclipse DA7232 can give me 500watts x 2 @ 4ohm //or\\ 1000watts x 2 @2ohm.
The 15W3v2 RMS rating is 500watts.....
I figure I can get the Dual 2ohm and series connect them to get 4ohms that way my amp will be able to push them all day with out strain.....
I'm thinking ported box....
Or I might get two 12" W7's they both would be getting around their 750watts RMS my amp @3ohms....
Debating Debating Debating......

That makes perfect sense. thank you for clearing that up for me. Was I somewhat on target when I wrote....

For the most part you are true... not all components sets have biamped capabilities... all individual components can be controlled individually, however you MUST have the proper equipment in order to ensure longevity/proper sound, and operation of the product... As for which radio can has the ability to do so, there is only one that I know of... and it's a 2000 dollar radio... no mp3, no flashy lights... no screen, just pure 100% unadulterated sq... ok i wet my pants... jk

So not all component sets with crossovers have bi amp ability? Or if the component set has a crossover it has bi amp ability?

Sounds like a Nak product....(correct me if I'm wrong)

They make great stuff but I'm into something a little more attractive.....I'll get with the pros on the component issue....
