My cousin owns an audio shop in San Jose, CA. Haven't seen it yet but, he told my to get either one 15" solobaric L7 or a 15" JL W7. I was wondering if anyone had put one in yet and tell me how good it sounded. I wan't to get a system but I want to hear clean bass, not ear drum exploding.

(He has four 15"s in his Navigator, I think he's a bit crazy)

I like the combination of sound quality and deep bass that the Audiobahn alum12T puts out...its clean but hits hard also

Last weekend I ordered a package deal with a pair of Elemental Designs 13Ov.2s and the NINe.1 amplifier. I've seen many good things about them on different forums. When I receive everything and have time to install them I'll let everyone know the 411.

xxx is the middle level spl woofer, according to RE audio. Here are some "Direct" buy prices:
XXX10- $395
XXX12- $405
XXX15- $435
XXX18- $475
Meaning if you don't live cloes to an RE dealer than you qualify for these prices. If you do live near a dealer than expect prices to go up by 40 to 100 bucks. I have the SE, and it still rocks, no meter test yet, but it hits clean.

Jl doesnt make a 15 w7, they said the 13w7 had the same piston area or something as a 15` driver. They kept it that size so it wouldnt lose sound quality
