Yeah I put in a 1 w7 in my friends car last week with a jl 1000/1 amp and it almost blew my ear drums out, because I didnt expect it to hit so hard.. I am putting 1 diamond audio sub in my car, because I dont really listen to music that loud, i just want clarity

get the two W7's, then you might be close to my two S15L7s. But IMO 1000watts isn't enough. i'd go with 1600watts if i ran those.

Jump off the JL bandwagon. Do you know what JL stands for ??? JustLooks Audio. W7's are over rated, and over priced. Go for some quality bass you can really crank. Try Reaudio's XXX or Ascendant Audio's Atlas. I'd highly reccomend two ascendent audio atlas for price and XBL2 tm technology, that's the shiznitlebam right there hard to be that quality for it's price..

yea reaudio is awsome from what i hear. memphis mojo is also VERY loud. in fact they are built strictly for SPL comp. but for daily driving they are feirce. and still cheaper than a w7.

I have one "entry-level" JL Audio W0 10" running of 150RMS and it is just amazing in the tC. Honestly, I have quite a few people fooled into thinking it's at least a 600watts system. It is that clear and efficient! In addition, I can still fit stuff in my trunk and if need more space, can bring down the right/middle seats

I'm sure the W7 will hit harder, deeper, and cleaner, and I can attest that if I can wow EVERYONE who has been in my car with the W0, you won't be dissappointed with the W7.

I'm definitely a JL Audio fan now
