billy@EZ-BAKEDCUSTOMZ.COM OR EZSLADY@EZ-BAKEDCUSTOMZ.COM
Installing the EZ-CUSTOMZ plug & play A/C LED kit
Ok so here is how I did it.
disconect the battery Take you time and dont brake anythig if you do dont blame me or SL. Ok now that we got that out of the way lets get started.
Step 1.
Remove the 3 a/c ***** by pulling them towards you.
Step 2.
Remove the 2 Phillips screws that are behind the a/c *****. One on the left one the right .
Step 3.
Remove the center dash panel. I find it EZ to remove the panel by putting the pointer finger from each hand in the outside holes where the a/c **** were and pulling the panel towards the center of the car. Once the bottom corners are lose, hinge the dash towards the ceiling .
Step 4.
Disconnect the 3 plugs attached to the back of the center dash panel and remove the panel.
Step 5.
Remove the 2 lights located next to the plugs one on each side.
Removing the buttons and controls from the panel.
Step 6.
Remove the 2 Phillips screws that holds the a/c and hazards buttons to the back of the panel.
Step 7.
Using your finger unclip the 2 tabs on the bottom.
Step 8.
Using your finger unclip the one tab on the top and remove the controls.
Installing the LED’s
Step 9.
Remove the clear plastic piece bridging across the whole panel face.
Step 10.
Now place the Led Flex strip around the center control with the LEDS facing the plastic window and replace the clear bridge.
Step 11.
Now fish the plugged ends of the rewired Super Flux 4 chip led threw the hole left from removing the light in step 5 .Fish the plug threw the front side so the plugs end up in the back of the whole panel.
Step 12.
You should now look like this.
Finding power and taping in
Step 13.
You can now reassemble the panel by snapping it all back together and replacing the 2 Phillips screws. Do not over tighten its only plastic.
Step 14.
Using the supplyed Scotch locks tap into some power. Place one tap on the all green wire and the other tap on the white wire with the green stripe. These wires can be found on the big plug that you unplugged from the A/C controls.
Step 15.
Plug the LED’s into the supplied plug harness and into the taps. Plug the black wire of the plug harness into the white wire with green stripe. Plug the red wire of the plug harness into the green wire. Reconnect all the plugs and reassemble the dash. Now when you turn on you lights you should have nice bright led glow.
