For you cheapskates out there, Cardomain has open box Eclipse CD3000 head units available right now for $141. These include full warranty. 5v front/rear/sub pre-outs.

Do the newer double DIN Eclipse head units still support the Toyota/Scion steering controls?

My Eclipse CD5425 died recently after 5 years and 2 vehicles.

Found a great deal on the Eclipse CD3100 which supports the Scion steering controls, comes with free wiring harness, and a free mounting kit.

Normally $299, Crutchfield has it marked down to $129.99 w/ free shipping.

Download and create a CD w/ Eclipse -> Toyota steering wheel controls profile and upload to your CD3000.

So... for a shade over $200 (after shipping costs) you can have a very nice head unit, keep your steering wheel controls, and even have 3 sets of pre-outs when you decide to add an amp, upgrade your speakers, and install that subwoofer.

Also, here's a link to the Eclipse CD3000 manual.

Or...

if the CD3000 doesn't appeal to you... here is a list of all Eclipse head units that support Toyota steering wheel controls!

P.S. I nominate this post for Stickiness

Can't wait here either. Going to deck it out with Eclipse like my Frontier.

I recently picked up a Clarion DXZ785USB for a steal from SonicElectronix. Anybody have experience with the PAC units?

My xb came stock with a pioneer hu and it works with the steering wheel controls. It has MP3 playback and a six disc internal changer too.
