CHEAP easy to install DIY keyless entry!

I include starter kill on all my security products, the alarm has a siren, starter kill, flashing LED, and a two stage impact sensor. Thats the difference, between the two. Thanks for interest. Bill

the control module are for the keyless entry @62.00 and the alarm @79.00 are the same. The keyless entry includes starter bypass.
The alarm has the same features as the keyless entry, add 7 tone siren, two stage impact sensor, LED.
I hope that clears it up, sorry for the confusion. Bill

Interested...
I'm really interested in purchasing this (tonight even) but I have a couple of questions (sorry if I'm pounding out similar questions, but I'm very wary.)
I am not mechnically inclined at all. I can unscrew and plug in; that's all i'm pretty much capable of. When you say they use T-Taps, does that mean that all i have to do is just plug wires in? No soldering or splicing wires together? That sounds really easy :-D
Also, I suppose the keyless entry remotes are plain black? The ones on the Scion site look really awesome :-D
On the Scion Specialities site, on the description page for the keyless entry kit, it says '3rd channel output
Door lock/unlock with ignition'
What is 3rd channel output? Does door lock/unlock with ignition mean that I can turn my car on and off with the remote?
Keyless entry is the one thing that will make my scion perfect :-D
Thanks

That being said, I didn't find this install to be quite as easy as the original poster did. There were two wires referenced in the instructions that weren't quite right for my '05 xA RS2. One wire don't exist in my car at all and the other was "black with a red stripe" instead of "black" like the instructions said, although a phone call to Bill quickly led me to the correct wire.
Additionally, I have the side curtain airbags, which throw a small wrench into things and prohibit you from hooking up one of the green wires as instructed. So currently I have one wire that I still need to connect. The keyless entry system still works and I used it all day today while driving around, but that one wire not being hooked up is potentially problematic (as I found while testing the install when my keys got locked inside of my vehicle and I needed a spare to get them out)
But Bill's working on tracking down an alternate location to tap into and I have faith that he will find it for me All the praise for Bill in this thread is spot on. He works hard for his customers.

FOLLOWUP: I just want to note that it seems like (for whatever reason) my '05 xA RS2 does not have all the same wire coloring as other '05 xAs. Therefore the discrepancy between Bill's instructions and my installation is potentially Scion's fault and not the fault of the instructions.
I've talked to other xA owners, I've looked at the wire chart here (yes, I know it's for an xB) and I've looked at the'04/05 alarm wiring info here and while those sources seem to agree on wire colors, they don't necessarily match up with what's in my vehicle. Specifically the door trigger, which is "red with a white stripe" as far as everybody else is concerned, but not in my vehicle.
I don't know if this is because I have an RS2.
I don't know if this is because I have side-curtain airbags.
I don't know if this is because Toyota/Scion has adopted a new wiring scheme.
But whatever the reason is, it's just seeming more and more likly that the wiring in my xA is what caused the most confusion and I wanted to point that out for posterity sake. And to thank Bill again for providing a very economical solution and great customer service.

I had to wait till the bosses went home at the toyota dealership, then I finally got my hands on rs-2 with curtain air bags, Marc had done alot of researching on his own which helped alot. When I checked his wire he had found, that was one. So I owe Marc props also. good work Marc, thanks. Bill

marc, you should make your instruction a sticky here
For those wondering, I put together a step-by-step set of instructions based on: Bill's instructions + my installation + pictures that I took. It includes info like specifically where the screws are located, which harnesses etc. Right now it's a 4 page .pdf file that I figured I'd offer to Bill in case he wanted to send them out with the alarm orders, but I've been holding back because of these wire-color discrepancy issues.
All I can figure is that the side-airbag cars (mine and ecandlcubed's) have different wiring colors than non-side-airbagged cars (Epitrochoid & ???) but I'd still like to triple confirm that.
If anybody else has ordered the keyless install kit and wants to take a look at my instructions, PM me. I'm interested to know if everything is accurate.
Thanks for the props ecandlcubed and thanks again to Bill for the great inexpensive system.

I am in the process of getting a new xB and I am trying to figure out which alarm to purchase. I've read thru most posts about alarms and I've looked thru Scion Specialities' alarms and they sound great. But I'm trying to figure out if either the AS805 or AS806 has glass temper sensors. I've tried looking for more info at www.accelevision.com but found none. The AS805 has a lot of great options, probably more than I need, while the AS806 doesn't list courtesy light control. I don't suppose anyone with more insight on these or any other alarm is any suggestions?
The main features I'm looking for are:
2 stage shock sensor
At least 1 paging remote
Glass tamper sensor
LED status
Dome light activation
Door/hood/trunk sensor
Keyless entry
Parking light flash
Siren chirp arm/disarm
Any suggestions will be appreciated

The 806 has all the mentioned feature to include the lighted entry, but the the scion already comes equipped with lighted entry, so when the door are unlocked the interior light come on.
The glaas sensor is not needed because it takes impact to break a window, a properply adjusted shock sensor can do the job of both. Thanks for the inquiry. Bill
