cigarette lighter not working in '08 xb

I purchased an '08 xb yesterday and the cigarette lighter won't work. We checked the fuses and it was blown so we replaced it and it still doesn't work. Any suggestions?

are you trying to use it for a lighter, or a power plug? i dont think it works with the lighter.

Toyota did that on purpose so they won't be sued from smokers that end up with cancer in 35 years. If the lighter works they could be held accountable for promoting smoking.
