Clifford or Viper?
I was told by my dealer that my Camo xB will be in this week, and I was hoping for a little more time to think about my car alarm. But time has run out. The place that is installing the system needs to book a week in advance! Here is my question, even though I think they are the same company. Should I get a Viper Alarm or a Clifford? And reasoning would help in my decision also. I am either looking at the Responders (with no remote start) or a mid-class system, but my price limit is 350...
Thanks in Advance (I like the Clifford systems b/c of the cf fobs!)

Another Question, can the xB's trunk be opened by remote??

I'm not a alarm guru, but I think Vipers are more expensive and better than Cliffords. I'm not sure though. I was gonna get a Clifford, but I got a lojack system installed for cheap. Clifford's CF fobs are simulated CF, I believe. The "CF" on my friend's fobs started to rub off. Also, the trunks can be triggered to open by remote...there is a switch to open it. It's a soft-touch type switch, so I'm guessing it's electronic. It can be opened by a remote, but it'd need a solenoid to push it open... It can be done, though!

they are both the exact same alarm just different remotes. the clifford is carbon and the viper is white. both alarm systems are made by DEI which also make hornet, sidewinder, etc.
