Default crappy antenna reception.....

i swapped out the stock deck for a pioneer p-930, but i get garbage for radio reception. i know some people on here were talking about putting power to a power antenna wire to activate a factory signal amplifier. does this work? has anyone tried it? which wire? and is it 12 volt or stepped down to some lower voltage?[/url]

I fixed it if you have an after market wire harness find the power ant wire and hook it to your power ant wire on your deck (they should be blue)any other questions about it p.m. me.
