Why have a switch? Why would you want to turn them off? Mine are on when the dash lights are on and off when they are off. Plus, I can dim them with the standard dash dimmer. All for $8. That's what....$291 less than the dealer. :?

pull out the console with cupholders, theres lil crosshairs on the sides of cupholders under console, put the led's in the center of crosshairs

That's cool! Do they cycle through the colors automatically, or is there a selector switch of some sort?

DO NOT GET THE MULTI LEDs!!!

unless you want a disco car. YIKES! These LEDs start off slow then start pulsing really fast. Not exactly what I wanted. Bact to AutoZone for regular LEDs.

BTW, this mod is super EZ!!!

Awesome! Thanks for the tip!

Can you run your LED light kit of f the same wire, or is that too much load?

I'd love for everything to go on when the lights do and like the idea of being able to dim 'em.

Thanks.

I wouldn't know if the xBs have the same plug. If I had to bet money on it, I'd say they do. The 3 pack of LEDs I bought from Advanced Auto were called LEDs Anywhere. They come with the resisters on them already. In the package, they come with a small pushbutton switch and a temporary battery connected to them so you can push the button and see them light up in the store. When you open the package, you clip off and throw away the pushbutton and the battery.

LED's have such a small load, I really wouldn't worry about it.

I wired 3 LEDs and the light in the "Oven" to this source. Everything works great.

So what color did you decide on since you returned the disco pack? There is a setting on my 6-disc stereo that will cycle through all 10 colors of it's display. If I would leave it on that setting and install the LEDs you had, it would probably cause an epileptic seizure.

LOL!

I went with red since I rewired the "Oven" to a switch. It has a nice glow especially with a clear water bottle in the holder.
