Hey everyone!!!
I want to address two issues tonight because they are weighing on me heavily.
First, if you are waiting on a design or if you've sent a message requesting a design and haven't heard from me I do sincerely apologize for the delay. I've had a lot going on in my life recently including deaths in the family, high demands at work and at home, and other things that just happen. Please give me a chance. I usually produce a lot in spurts so one day soon many of you will get to see your faceplates.
Second, I want to clear the air about what you will get and its inherent problems. The faceplates are initially printed on professional quality photo paper for a nice sharp image. There are other steps to help control the light that passes through colored areas. Finally it is laminated for protection. In the daytime I don't think anyone can deny that the faceplates look great. I know I love seeing mine everyday instead of the OEM piece. However, due to the construction materials and design there are inherent problems. The faceplates are definately readable at night but there has been mention of some shadowing in light areas above dark areas, fuzzy appearance of the characters depending on color choice, and not being able to see the low fuel light.
I'm not trying to make excuses for what you get. I just want you to know that I will do my best to make sure you have a faceplate that is unique and you are completely happy with but it may not have an absolutely perfect appearance at night. I'm constantly looking for better ways to make them without breaking the bank.
For those of you interested, I just ordered a new drawing tablet so I should be able to do more personalized graphics and detailing once I get used to it. There's only so much one can do with a mouse.
Thanks everyone!!!

No problem Chad! Take all the time you need man. I know how all that stuff can be having lost my grandmother not too long ago and trying to deal with school and work at the same time. I know you're working on mine, but take your time dude, i can wait!

Just want to support Chadfo and his work. I just got my 2.0 faceplate installed on Sunday. As the man says during the day it looks perfect, a real nice job. During the night it looks darn close to perfect. There is some minor shadowing but it is minor, a small bug that can be lived with and is more than offset by how cool the cover looks. The low fuel light looks great at night but you could miss it during the day, of course the fuel gauge still works so again no big problem. All and all I say great job, well worth it. By the way the speedo tear apart was not as bad as I thought but that is probably because I was extra extra careful.
Chadfo, sorry about your family news and hang in there

Thanks guys!!
My tablet came in today. Here's my first experiment. It's not much and it's not that great but it's the first. Actually after looking at it again, it's not that finished. Oh well. I was just playing around getting a feel for things.

Real solid work chadfo, and I will be ordering one as soon as I get my xb (monday at the latest). Thanks for all your hard work and helpfulness, not to mention attention to detail!
