Just got my xb - I got it first without a cd player installed at all because I wanted to take the car home right away. I think that a dvd player with a flip up monitor would be more expensive, and the monitor could get in the way of some controls. So why not have a screen in the dash where the stock cd player goes, and a dvd player installed somewhere under it? I also think the dvd player with the seperate screen would look much cleaner. My mechanical/electrical lack of knowledge means I'd have to get it installed professionally, do ya'll think it would be a ton more expensive to pay someone the money to do the player and the seperate screen rather than the flip-up? I've also read about a "black box" that you need to be able to see the tv while the car is running....where do I get those, and would a professional place install them?
