I was thinking, since a lot of you have replaced your entire systems, that we could start a definative thread on the stock stereo in Scions. Please post or PM me and I will update this message.

First question, does the xA XB come with the same system? Are they wired the same?

Someone quoted 13 Ohms on the speakers, can anyone confirm?

FYI, I live in MO and do not own a scion. Will probably buy the tC and so I'll need some help. Rumor has it that there are an xA/B about an hour from here. I'm going to try to find them on Sat. While I'm there, I'll try to get some of this info from the owner's manual.

One more thing, pulled my sub this evening and notice that there is a tear in the cone about an inch. Can I fix this with fingernail polish or hot glue?

 

The specs on the xB stock speakers are:

Dash-2.6in, 13ohm, 17.5W
Front- 6.3in, 4ohm, 20W
Rear- 5.5in, 6ohm, 11.75W
